Reflections on education in John Dewey's philosophy

چکیده
Pitanje odgoja staro je koliko i život sâm, a njegovi ključni elementi zaokupljaju dalje misli brojnih pedagoga, psihologa, filozofa, sociologa itd. Mnogo stručnjaka različitih profila koji se bave temom odgoja, no jedno ime posebno ističe, uz koje veže pojam suvremenog reforme obrazovanja – John Dewey. Cilj ovog rada prikazati u glavnim crtama njegovu teoriju primjenu teorije domeni filozofije ističući važnost kao društvene funkcije službi civilizacijskog opstanka napretka. Upravo društveni tehnološki napredak potaknuo Deweyja na ideju obrazovanja, čijem središtu bio praktični rad eksperimentalna metoda, s ciljem postizanja ravnoteže između znanja vještina. Značajan dio Deweyjeve posvećen odgoju obrazovanju, taj aspekt bit će prikazana opća promišljanja o odgoju, njegovim ciljevima, svrsi definiciji, te moralu iznimno značajnom odgojno-obrazovnom aspektu.
